We Cultivate a Village

Valchemy Giving is a West Bend, Wisconsin–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit and the charitable branch of Valchemy Living. Created to cultivate a village where every gift has the power to strengthen a life, we connect people, professional expertise, community resources, and compassionate support to create meaningful opportunities for individuals, families, and communities to heal, belong, and thrive together.

Our Mission

We believe a thriving community begins with meaningful connection. Valchemy Giving brings together people, organizations, businesses, resources, and shared gifts in one welcoming place—making it easier to find support, discover opportunities, and build trusted relationships. Together, we cultivate a village where everyone has something valuable to offer, everyone has a place to belong, and no one has to face life's challenges alone. Through shared gifts, reciprocal generosity, and compassionate action, individuals, families, and communities flourish.

We've all heard the saying, "It takes a village." At Valchemy Giving, we believe that's true not only for raising children, but for navigating every season of life. None of us is meant to carry life's challenges alone. We flourish when we belong to communities where people care for one another, share their gifts, and step forward when someone needs support.

A village flourishes when people become faithful stewards of the gifts they've been entrusted with.

Some gifts are practical. Others are creative, professional, educational, or deeply personal. Whether repairing a vehicle, preparing a meal, offering therapeutic care, teaching a skill, mentoring a neighbor, sharing knowledge, or simply listening with compassion, every gift has the power to strengthen a community.

We also believe generosity should be sustainable. Time has value. Professional expertise has value. Businesses have value. A thriving village doesn't diminish those gifts—it honors them. Sometimes generosity looks like volunteering. Other times it looks like offering a discounted service, donating products, mentoring someone, sponsoring a need, or simply choosing to support another local business. Reciprocity allows generosity to grow without exhausting the people who give. Through community collaboration, thoughtful stewardship, and reciprocal generosity, we transform compassion into meaningful action while ensuring both those who give and those who receive are strengthened.

Because a healthy village isn't built by a handful of extraordinary people. It's built by ordinary people who choose to steward what they've been given and invest in one another.

Everyone has something valuable to offer.

Everyone has something they may need.

Everyone has a place.

And when we share our gifts, receive support with dignity, and help one another flourish, the entire village grows stronger.

Our Village Philosophy

Every thriving village is built on four enduring foundations:

These four pillars guide everything we do—today and as Valchemy Giving continues to grow.

Caring for the caregivers is part of caring for the community.

Too often, the people who spend their lives serving others are the ones quietly running on empty. Therapists, teachers, volunteers, healthcare workers, caregivers, nonprofit leaders, parents, business owners, and neighbors who give generously can only continue doing so when they are supported, too.

At Valchemy Giving, we believe generosity should be sustainable. By cultivating reciprocity, community partnerships, and meaningful opportunities to both give and receive, we help ensure that no one has to pour from an empty cup.

Because when we care for those who care for others, the entire village grows stronger.

Stewardship of Hope

The strongest communities aren't built by a single person—they're cultivated by neighbors, friends, volunteers, and generous hearts choosing to care for one another. Together, we cultivate a village where compassion is shared, dignity is honored, and every person has the opportunity to belong and thrive.
